For sale is a reproduction of a 17th century style light broadsword or heavier rapier with an elaborate basket hilt front guard and swept hilt rear guard. The blade is 37 inches long including the ricasso, a bit under 1 14 inches wide, overall length 43 inches.This is not the Deepeeka version of this sword. The hilt is lighter in construction and the blade is much higher quality, well tempered and flexible. The pommel is peened. Maker unknown. Nice wire wrapped leather grip with 'Turks heads' braiding at either end. Weighs just under three pounds but well balanced. No nicks on blade, never used for sparring. No scabbard.
