Alright, here's a question for you.

Is the inlay on both sides, and is the same on both sides?

As of six months ago it's still upstairs.

I posted pics of it here from my Massive Museum Post visit of just about every museum in London (Except of course, the Wallace Collection, because i was an idiot and forgot it was in London).

I'd like to know this as well, I probably should have asked someone last time I was there. I've only seen the left side of the seax as that is how it is displayed.

No idea. On any other inlayes broken back saxes I've seen, the inlays are different from one side to the other. But of this one I've never seen the other side.
