XVIth century military sword with simple side ring guard
I have seen this style depicted in some mid- XVIth century illustration, especially associated with men in armour. it looks, judging from the limited source i have found , that it was popular especially in italy but i have found it in some german and english source as well. some examples found in the album section that are all labeled as italian. do you have some other depiction of this kind of hilt?
