That's the third "Carribean" cup-hilt that has been sold in the past month or two.

This guys does not have this sword. It is a fake!! Rick is still working on this sword and still has it at his shop. We have contacted ebay about it.

Oh I know...that's why I posted here :) Read the description closely; it describes the Phantom Leafblade, not the Triple Fullered Broadsword pictured.
Hey Mike, here's another one for you; from the description it sounds like this guy is saying he can deliver one 30 days after the auction ends, but I'm guessing that since you guys are still in the prototype stage this isn't going to happen?

Del Tin 2146:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem...8&rd=1

I used to have a 2146. The furniture is the same as the 2142, but the blade has that big fat ricasso on it and no fuller. I had the blade switched out to make it a 2142. Also, the seller lists it as "only a little over 3 pounds." The listed weight is over 3 1/2 pounds.

Errr! Is it just me, or does that Raven Armoury Short sword look a little WRONG! The add says it is a Roman Gladius and shows a cheap knock off Type XIV by Darksword or someone. Thats just wrong!

This seller has listed a few Raven Armoury pieces in the recent past. Each one has been "withdrawn from sale" in the middle of the auction. I emailed the seller asking for an explanation, and inquiring about any other similar items he might have. I was told that the items had all been sold, and that there were no more. Now this one pops up. Very odd.
I agree with Tom Carr. That is not a Raven.
Raven swords
The Gladius was definately a Raven sword as was the aged longsword similer to the Black prince,
I emailed RavenArmoury and received confirmation on those,
The Damascus Tulwar/maritime sabre was not one of theirs, cant give you anymore on that as it was stolen along with the parcelforce van it was in,
OOh brightspark driver left the keys in the van, yep insured though,
The sword mentioned above,i havent mailed to ask as i was offered this before the auction as a replacement for the item stolen, but i already have stuff too near to make it worth buying,
if anyone is interested the reserve may be around $695.00,
But you should mail Raven for confirmation first,
Hornbeam guard ?,any opinions.
EBAY SCUMBAG!
EBAY SCUMBAG!

What an sh*tbird. That's MY auction description, essentially word for word (from one of my last auctions), this guy has up there.

(Though, I do like his smooth "This is the rare black version.." BS)

DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, PAL!

And, this a**monkey is selling a Shiavona, not a Sword Rapier,

Sorry for the rant, folks. Had to get it out,
Jesse

P.S. No, I won't be offended if someone goes after the sword... ;) :D
Definately not from Raven,
To anybody looking at the recent sword listed as a Raven sword,
Confirmation from Simon at Raven it definitely isnt one of theirs, but some of you guys already pegged that,
i was giving the benefit of doubt owing to the collection being older swords 96 upwards,
Also guessing it will be relisted when he gets a polite mail to say, this one we didnt make, regards ,Raven Armoury,
Hope this may help anyone looking,

Jesse,
Could be seen as flattery,
Are there rules against description theft or just morally wrong,
A ten grand bid under an alias would be funny, but alas two wrongs dont make a right,

UPDATE

The guy's not really a bad guy afterall. I contacted him directly about this, albeit with a bit of a "flying off the handle" tone. Anyway, he responded and apologized; and corrected the issue - meaning he closed the auction.

While I appreciate his responding to me and taking action, I do feel bad that he felt he had to close the auction. If nothing else, that's one less sword up on eBay... :( ;)

Thanks for listening,
Jesse

On March 17 I received an email from the seller of this item, advising that he had sold the last of his six Raven Armoury swords. So it would appear that he either knew when he listed this item that it was not a Raven Armoury product. or he acquired it after March 17.
Hi Steve,
In the emails i've been talking with Tom,
He mentioned this sword as found in their inventory after scouring as he'd had a few info requests,
This mail was dated 18 april,
He sent pics and a price on 21 april.
He'd also mentioned of the six swords two were sold out of the shop before going on ebay,
Feel free to pm an email address if you want me to forward them on if its of any help to you,
Best,
Lee.
