The very idea of scratches and dents is terrifying to me right now, haha. Maybe one day I will come around though!

Thanks! No, I don't plan to get a backplate for it. A breastplate alone is appropriate for my time period. The only upgrades I can still conceivably do would be to have a proper heat treated spring steel bascinet made to replace the heavy mild steel one in the photographs.
I do need a plaque belt though, but I'm not sure where to go about getting one. The quatrefoil offering by Anshelm Arms is rather nice, but I haven't seen much else out there.
I'm still waiting on my Albion Crecy and scabbard to be finished to round out the kit, and that's really all I can think of for now.

I'd hop over to the Armour Archive for your inquiry about plaque belts. I see threads about them being offered from time to time, and believe a couple of members have been making them for discerning customers. Because it's beyond my time frame, I haven't inquired and easily forget the specifics... Sorry I can't help more!
