The collection progresses through time, but perhaps more specifically, progresses through functional methodology as well. |
Thanks Nathan!
That's an excellent description of the type of collection I'm trying to build.

Also, I was just thinking, I know Howy loves his Knight and would have nothing but praise for it, and he's probably spent more time with it than most. So, I was wondering his thoughts on how it handles and if he's cut with it, how forgiving a sword it is? |

I was having a photo session with a couple of new review samples and I thought I'd take a few group shots of my collection, as it now exists. |

Hi, Howy :D
Two questions for you (not to hijack this thread any farther than I alreay have. . .). First, as I said before, I spent far more time admiring the scabbard for your Knight than the sword itself. This the case and my memory failing me, is the blade on your sword antiqued as the hilt is or did you leave it stock polish? Second, I was just reading the current spotlight feature article on Type XIII, and I was wondering - still seeing the type conspicuously absent from the lineup - if there is a piece in the works to fill the void; specifically, I am wondering about a true type XIII, not one of the sub-types? Okay, three questions. . . as I haven't had a chance to really get them side-by-side in hand, how does the handling compare between the Squire Line Knightly and the NG Knight? I figure they would be pretty close but I'm searching for the "devil's details", if you will. Thanks again! |
