This beautiful edition of Master Fillipo Vadi's comprehensive fencing treatise is a fantastic resource for those studying period longsword fighting. The volume reproduces the original treatise in full beautiful color, and Mele and Porzio have done a wonderful translation. The background information is quite helpful, and gives new life to this previously overlooked work.
