Always glad to find a fresh translation of the Tengu-Geijutsu-Ron. Heavy on philosophy, light on technique, this classic s a fascinating view of the way sword arts were regarded at the time of its writing. "Too much attention to technique inhibits the Life Force," as an earlier translator observed.

There are no utterly bad translations that I've seen of Musashi, but this one is better than most.
