If I could own only one translation of an historical rapier fencing treatise, it would be this one. This is by far the most complete work to date regarding the art of Italian rapier fencing. In my opinion Tom Leoni cannot receive enough praise for this incredible piece of work. Fabris methods are clearly explained in an easy to understand format, and this ...

This book left me rather flat. First of all the title is very misleading. While it does provide some insight into the Viking culture it only barely scratches the surface of warfare during the Viking age. Overall this book was somewhat of a disappointment. The author seems to be more occupied with Viking cultural influences and their effect on the world ...

After reading this book, Robert Ruark’s unforgettable story of life in post WWII Kenya will forever be ingrained in my mind. This is a true classic example of great literature. It’s the frightening story of the Mau Mau uprisings during the 1950s and the lives of the people they affected and destroyed. Ruark brings this world to life with vivid detail and ...

While this book is somewhat soft in its technical merit, it contains some of the most outstanding photographs I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. This book truly highlights Winchester’s evolution from its early beginnings through the pre-64 model 70 and will make a welcome addition to anyone’s coffee table.
