Arms & Armor Writhen Parrying Dagger

Original: c. 1580, German Bashford Dean Collection, Metropolitan Museum, New York

En suite to the Writhen Rapier, this dagger features a decoratively roped guard and pommel. This particular piece has a fullered blade with decorative chiseling on the ricasso block. The grip is covered in twisted wire with turk's heads top and bottom.

Overall length: 17"
Width of guard: 4.5"
Blade: 12" long; 1" wide tapering to .5"
Grip and pommel: 5"

Has a black leather scabbard with decorative fittings and a matching rapier.
