CAS Iberia Ballock Dagger/Early Dirk
Original: Circa late 17th-early 18th century, Scotland

Dirks of this basic shape reflect the ancestral medieval "ballock" dagger from which they derive their shape. At times, these weapons were made from broken or damaged sword blades. This reproduction reflects this sort of character.

This replica features a hardwood hilt and a spring steel single-edged blade that is narrow and sharply pointed. The blade has a narrow fuller. The end-cap is of brass and the heavy sheath is of thick leather.
