Well I gave the contributions another kick in the pants with a $70 donation for a nice rounding to $2000.
Bump on this Topic thread and the same information on the other
Topic thread about the contest prize.

A contribution of $30 will get us to $2300 and would be 3 more chances to win the sabre. ;)
So who feels " LUCKY ". :p

A $5 B&R for $2300 total. :D
Not very far from the objective and maybe we can match or surpass last year's total of $3500 ( Or was it a little more ? ).

Another bump and a donation for $50 that I am sending for Jean Carle Hudon who prefers to not use Paypal, so I can't take credit for this one and I have asked Nathan to credit Jean Carle for this $50 so that he has his chance at winning one of the prizes.

Well, we seem to be into new territory at $3550 and there is still a while to go !
A lot of the people gave substantial amounts but it would still be nice if numerous more people contributed $10 just to increase the percentage of members who participated in the fund drive.
Since the objective is reached and surpassed I think we can at least relax and appreciate what has been given so far that should cover the minimum costs of the site. ( I'm sure a lot of the costs in the past and even now are out of pocket for Nathan, at the very least in time and unpaid work he puts in ).
I'm sure any extra funds give some manoeuvring room and opens up options for Nathan to maintain or even upgrade the site or funds that can be used for special projects.

Bump and maybe we will get to $4000 and that would be a nice round number. ;)
Still a couple of weeks to go so even if things slow down we should reach it as long as contributions don't stall completely: Not really worried about it since the objective has been well surpassed but more contributions give more chances to win one of the prize for those who already contributed or a chance at the prizes for those who haven't.
We are not finding a cure for cancer here so it won't be tragic if we don't raise more this year but any extra cash is a good buffer in case of unexpected expenses or for any bonus features/prizes Nathan might think of specifically for this fund drive or later in the year as nice surprises. ;) :D

Oh, things are moving again and that $4000 seems really close and unavoidable i.e. futile to try and stop it happening:
" WE ARE THE BORG ( myArmoury ) YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED INTO THE COLLECTIVE, RESISTANCE IS FUTILE ( donate ) " ......... :p Obviously showing my Treky geekyness here but it's getting really hard thinking of anything clever to say. ;)
Is there a " Prize " for most " BUMPS " to a Topic. :p

There we are, $4000.00, on the condition that Jean leaves Star Trek references out of this :D

O.K. it's a deal no more references to that particular program, but how about:
Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate Altantis, Dexter, Firefly, etc. etc. etc....... there are no limits to my geekyness. :p
A donation to cancel out any references to each, maybe. ;)

Just a " Bump " but we are getting into " nosebleed " territory there ! I'm mostly still bumping it out of curiousity about how high it can get. ;)
