I finally decided and was able to spend some time on my AT-1313 and turn her into a sword that I always wanted to have.
I ground the blade to a lenticular cross-section, proper to a type XIII, put both sides into symmetry with an apple seed very sharp edge and gave the blade a uniform satin finish. No more secondary bevels and no more machine marks.
As for the hilt, let the picture do the talking. One thing I must mention is that the pommel is inserted with a 23 carat gold leafed reticulated brass (samorodok) of my own manufacture.
This is a unique, one of a kind AT-1313 .
Specs as follows :
Total length - 46 1/4 inches
Blade length - 35 1/8 inches
Handle length - 8 1/2 inches (custom blade)
Blade width - 1 15/16 inches
COG - 3 3/4 inches
COP - 22 inches
Weight - 3 lb 4 oz
Thanks.
