Selling my Zhisword Folded Steel Clay Tempered Yue's King Jian FJ804. Bought this a few years and I have cut with it on two occasions. Tatami mats only. Sword is in great shape except once when trying to see if the sword can be disassembled, the small hoop on the pommel nut which you attach the tassel to broke off. I sanded it a little to smoothen that surface, but the jian is fine. You just have to attach the tassel by wrapping it around the pommel/grip area. Comes with a scabbard, matching wood and fittings. Also secured in a nice display case/box.
Here is a link to the sword:

The sword is beefy, it is or is almost 1/2" thick! Yup. No flex here. Edges are sharp and cuts mats fine, never tried water bottles with this one. There is a very noticeable and nice looking hamon on the blade. Folded steel pattern is also noticeable in the double fullers. Some of the scabbard fittings move around a bit, which is the state the sword came to me in. I never displayed it with the scabbard. Anyhoo, here are the stats:
Overall Length: 42.75"
Blade Length: 30.5"
Blade Width: 1 7/8"
Thickness: 0.5"
POB: 6"
Weight: 3.6 lbs
Hilt Length: 12"
Grip Length: 10 1/8"
This sword is $699 new with another $67 for shipping. Giving that it has been barely used for cutting and that the pommel nut is not of its original form, I would like to get $500 for this sword. I will cover shipping and paypal fees. PM or email me for pics or if you are interested. vayduong@aol.com
