I hope to see The Count at the Atlanta Show in a couple weeks.

Sorry buddy!! We did not have one done in time to make it for the show. Hopefully next year Cry

Oh well! Waiting an additional year isn't a real solution. There are other things to see!

EDIT: Flaming cows and calthrops sounds like a genuienly good idea though.

Now your talking! The calthrops would keep the flaming cows from skidding out of reach after they land!

We'll be in Georgia on Monday and will be back in Atlanta by Thursday evening. Maybe we can do dinner?

I'm picking Nathan up from the airport between 9:30 and 10:00 Thursday. Maybe we could meet for drinks afterwards?

I'll be hanging out in 'the pit' on thursday evening most likely. Stop by and say Hi!-- and Mike- actually I am on the flaming cows side! It's good that they can finally stop living a lie and 'come out!' Big Grin

I discovered this rather old thread this weekend while searching for information on the Landgraf and Sempach(swords I suddenly want badly) and must say that this thread, while extremely long is a treasure trove of information on many of the early Next Gen models. There are LOTS of design and inspiration type posts from Peter Johhnson as well as all kinds of other "inside Albion" type information that I found very interesting from many folks who either worked or still work at Albion on how these early models came into being.

We always hear about Albion's attention to details, historical research, construction methods etc. This thread is essentially a transcript from those who were doing the work as it happened, 10 years ago.

Anyway, I thought it was a very interesting read (its LONG no question) but all through out it is some really great and interesting information on many of first Next Gen models. I figured I would bump this back into the light for others who may find it a worthwhile read as I did.

I think that people would profit greatly from doing some " Archeological Digging/Searches " of old Forum Topics/Posts, either with searches with a specific goal in mind or to just random browsing though old Topics for the fun of it ...... lots of hidden gems in older Topics worth making the effort.

Well, this in addition to all the special feature articles and reviews etc .....

You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!
