Is here anyone who know's anything about them, finds or rumor or anyone more who makes them now?

While visiting Stockholm a couple years ago I found these items at the HandFaste shop in Gamla Stan. They are apparently handmade by a guy down south (Malmo?). They are quite nice, but purely for decoration only. I wouldn't recommend them for any practical wear. The guy also makes masks of leather in the same style. I bought a helmet that's supposed to symbolize the god Thor (equivelant to item M5 on the Handfaste website), and a mask that represents Odin. I like them both -- the mask is especially cool! (by the way, that's a glimpse of a Jody Samson short sword behind the Thor helm).

I like these also, not sure how historically acurate they might be, but I think they look great. Certainly they are not something completely out of the realm of possibility. ;-)
