:lol: It's the Xa.1 from Records of the Medieval Sword. I believe it's catalogue number A.459 from the Wallace collection. I'm still hoping Albion or someone (hint, hint) will turn that one out.

**sigh!!** This is what I would have guessed. My 'financial manager' (read 'wife') has been fairly indulgent so far. But this would be WAY over the line. I would probably need to settle for that inaccurate, but very lovely, CF/Atrim 'inspired-by' sword. And I don't like to use the word 'settle', since I am sure that the workmanship would be excellent. But before going that route, I would probably go for one of the less expensive Museum Line items, since I really like the concept of the exacting reproduction.

We are also planning on doing a NextGen version of this sword (because it is too much of a sweetie not to) that will be sans all of the decorative elements (inscriptions, gilding, embossed leather) but have the same blade and more basic versions of the pommel, guard and grip.

It´s decade I have ever seen this sword in this web. It was my desire make this sword in one´s entirety. Now I have my best rekonstraktion, but there are more question. I am not sure that anyone solve it there.
It exists picture with this sword with scabbard on one older photo but in Bayerisches Nationalmuseum is sword without this scabbard.
And datation of this sword is nonlogical. This sword and scabbards are common in A Duerer time. Some source write about half of 15th cenutry.

You´re right Steve this replika is my work :-) but I wrote it more like question than presentation. Every year I make on this type of longsword like custom work. But now it was custom sharp replica with gold. For my chance make directly replica.
Beautiful work for an outstanding sword. I'm sure you could sell it if you wanted to.
