I just acquired this Nimcha .
As far as I know these swords for the most part had European blades .
Since my pictures are set for different posting standards I'll direct you to this thread on Vikingsword and hope that I can gain a little insight from you guys . Big Grin

Looks like a 17th or 18th c. Anglo/Euro backsword blade. It wouldn't look out of place on a Highland basket hilt of the first half of the 18th c.

Thanks very much for the input Sean !
Most of the Nimchas have gently curved blades , many of them old Solingen origin bearing the Andrea Ferrara mark or the cabalistic Sun , Moon and stars .

This blade did not look 19c. to me , rather it seemed more of an older time .
