That's a fine sword, Chris. Any day is a great day when you receive a new sword! Happy

It kinda reminds me of Aragorn's sword in the LOTR movies. I especially like the 'antiqued' finish. -Ted

Very nice Chris, congrats on a fine looking sword. The more of Vladimir's work I see, the more intriqued I become. Someday would like to have one of his piece's in my collection. The Cavalry sword or Schiavona would do nicely.

Could you translate the inscription?

A very handsome sword - congratulations! Would you mind telling us a bit about the design process (inspirations and such). Thanks!

The characteristic of the sword is:
Blade L : 96 cm
Blade l : 5.2 cm
Grip : 16 cm
Pommel : 6 cm
Total length 119 cm
POB : 12 cm from crossgard
COP : about 41 from crossgard
Crossgard : 24,5 cm
Weigth : about 2 kg (i thing because i have nothing to mesure it)
This a blunt sword. "Perit sed in armis" was a old cavalry moto this means "Die but the weapons in my hands"
"Cristoforus" is for Christophe(r) and the last is my name of family...
Cervenka make the deal for 320 euros with the port to France, i am very happy with him. He passed a long time to spooke with you if you 've questions and he answer rapidly !!!
For the design process i give to Cervenka a drawing of the guard and the reference of one of is bastard, he send me some picture of is sword and i choose the blade, finition and he make it...
