Hi there, I am very impressed and pleased with this early 16th century armour reproduction. The manufacturer is Mac from Czech Republic. See http://www.mac-armour.cz/ for more.
Whats your opinion? ;-)

Hi,

That looks to be a very nice piece indeed. The only possible criticism that I can see is the somwhat iffy strap attachment at the top of the backplate, it looks out of place with the quality of the rest of the workmanship. Other than that very nice indeed. What guage is it generally ?

Regards as ever,

Russ

Frontplate is 2 mm and backplate is 1.5mm thick. Other parts 1.5mm.

A.S.

His work looks very nice, what are his prices like? I saw references to additional costs, but no prices on the gallery items.

Good looking foot corselet! Add an Almain Collar and Burgundian helmet, and you're ready to go beat up on some Schweitzers! (well, a brayette might be of service, too.) Very nice looking work, thanks for posting this!

Cheers,

Gordon

Cost if this nice piece was cca 40000 CZK.
Mac does not have prices on the web, because it depends on many things you can imagine, like figure, armour features ... etc. Please consider this price as very rough.
This is completely LH piece based on photos of original ( I think Insbruck , Germany cca 1510).
There are many things that you can't see on the photo. Eg. hollow plate borders with triangular section. I thing it pays off.

I have the plan to extend this piece to complete armour during some time.
