I received an e-mail from Mike that they were wrapping the grip today. I believe it will ship Wednesday and arrive early next week. I'm really looking forward to this one.
I imagine that your Tritonia will be a week behind mine. Have you purchased any Albion swords prior to the Tritonia to compare it to?

Nope -- this is my first. I'm used to custom swords, so I wanted to go with the Museum Collection. If I like the Tritonia, I'm also going to pick up a St. Maurice.

I have a SoSM already paid for and on order. Hopefully it will be in production by Christmas, but I'm prepared for longer.
You should find someone in the Albion Collectors Guild close to you and see if you can check out their Next Gen swords. I think you'll be favorably impressed.

This weekend's Round Table is probably somewhat close, though I don't know where you are in relation to Eric and Allan... If you were around my neck of the woods, you'd be more than welcome to drop by and see my meager (  ) collection... There is little to distinguish between a ML and NG piece from Albion - other than you can point to the exact sword the ML is taken from. Fit, finish, quality are all awesome.

I saw the Turin thread. Great news, I'm hoping for a nice Christmas gift to myself. The blade looks great. I'm really looking forward to getting my hands (or hand) on this one, the more so because of its historical importance. I'm going to try my hand at scabbard-making too.
And as you say, there isn't really a difference in ML vs. NG as far as production standards go. If you didn't know which was which you probably could not tell the difference from fit & finish. The only differnce is that the ML sword is an exact copy of an actual historical sword, while the NG is a representative example of a type, not a particular sword.

The Tritonia has arrived. I don't really have time to post much right now, but it's a beautiful piece of work. I'll post a separate review later today, although pics are not possible yet, my apologies.

Cool. I'm looking forward to your impressions of it.
My thoughts when I saw the sword on the site was pretty much along the lines of "That's an odd duck..."
I saw it in person in Atlanta, where I pretty much had this progression:

My roommate just picked mine up when he went home to grab something at lunch. The phonecall was like this:
ROOMIE: "Uh, are you expanding the armory?"
ME: "What?"
ROOMIE: "You have a giant, and I'm guessing sharp, package from "The Armory" or something."
ME: "Ohhhh, that. Didn't even know it had shipped out! Wee!"
ROOMIE: *silence*
Heh heh heh. My room just got a little (a lot?) sharper! Full thoughts to come.

GORGEOUS!
Looks just like a custom piece. Handles like a dream -- I was bowled over by how "light" this huge 1-hander was (of course, my other "real" sword, as mentioned, is essentially a greatsword.
Love it!! Great work and hats off to Albion.

Congrats Ryan!
The Tritonia is one of my favorite swords in the production market. If the broad-bladed cutting sword wasn't already well represented in my collection I'd undoubtedly own one myself.
From an engineering standpoint it's a fascinating sword.
