I handled several of his swords a little over a year ago. A rapier was very quick and light, but the blade was bit on the short side. Its matching dagger handled quite nicely, and was wickedly sharp and pointy. A schiavona handled nicely, but the blade narrowed too much to have any decent cutting power. The one reviewed this week has a better proportioned blade, IMO. A viking sword was little more than a polished crowbar, way too heavy, no balance, etc. I was quite surprised by this, considering the other work, but it seems like others have handled better versions of his viking swords.

A hands-on review by Bill Grandy

It was hard biting my tongue on this one since this topic was first posted.

I'll bet. :) The review seems to bolster the general consensus that was developing. (In my mind anyway :) )
