Does anybody have the following information: articles, photos, replicas...

Alexi,

I don't think they deal directly with the Sitten Klappvisier basinet from 1370, but there are a couple of threads about bascinets. You should be able to find them using the search feature. Also, if you click on features at the top of the page, right below the myArmoury.com logo, it will take you to the featured articles of this site. There is one there about bascinets, as well.

Here is a maker that offers a very good rendition of a klappvisored bascinet. It is somewhere midway down the page. I know that Claude Blair's book "European Armour 1066-1700. has a very good line drawing of it on page 194. The information he has you already know :German of about 1370.

Here is another not so bad rendition of that type of bascinet

On the top of the page is another example of klappvisier bascinet made by bestarmour

And here is a link to the drawing in the C. Blair's book (being used to commercial purposes..but hey who's looking Happy )
