I am looking for some pictures and dates on bazubands. Could anyone help me with this ?

AFAIk Bazu bands first appear in 14th century Persian miniature paintings. The first extant examples I know of are Mamluk and date from the early 16th century although I'm sure there are older examples out there. Interestingly those 16th century bazu bands are identical to ones being made in India and Iran in the 19th century, so it's a style that didn't change much.

Mamluk (Egyptian or Syrian), Early 16th century


Indian, 18th century
