I haven't decided on a name for this yet, I'm thinking that the original Latin word for integration or perhaps Over-Kill would be most appropriate. The blade is influenced by my interpretation of the Roman Falcata. Integrated with this already formidable weapon are two semi-automatic handguns of either 9mm or .45 caliber (A frame design capable of changing between the two would be preferred) mounted on either slide of the blade. They are attached so that the action would be unaltered, simply reconfigured to better suit their purpose; note the modification of a portion of the hilt that features a rail designed to accommodate the slide action of the firearms. As well as the ejection port for spent casings moved to the "top" of the firearms so that they exit forward of the weapon. Magazines are inserted into the back of the hilt and the slide mechanism features a latch similar to that seen on bolt action rifles in order to best accomodate cocking of the firearms, which would be highly awkward or impossible without this modification. The single trigger fires both weapons simultaneously. Finally, the long handle is designed to be capable of being braced against the hip so that the handguns can be fired as a stand-alone weapon while using the blade as a sight.
