Sutton Hoo Helmet
Hello,

I was reading up on the Sutton Hoo find for my Medieval European History course ( I have always been familiar with the sutton hoo find but have never studied it in detail). From what I found, the helmet style was from the Sassanids, and adopted by the Romans, which was then apparently adopted by saxons. The decorations are swedish I know, but are there any eastern finds that have helms similar to the sutton hoo burial? I am basically just looking for documented finds, or artwork that support what I read about this helmet being an eastern fashion that europeans adopted.
