Elizabethan Hanger
I have had the desire to own a good soldier's style hanger for my Darwood Basket and Lutel Rapier that I own. I started looking through period artwork including Degheyn's drill manual and Henry Sidney's rather violent tip over to England. With the great assistance of Aaron Schnatterly in drafting a pattern and conceptualizing the positions we came up with a hanger that I feel reflects accurate period hangers and looks really nice.

The best part is that with the tension buckles it can be adjusted any which way from Sunday and the way it lays doesn't interfere with walking. An added perk is that it perfectly lines up the hilt of the sword with my hand when I go into a charge for horse with pike. Absolutely essential in my mind! :)

That looks great, Chris! You've turned out some nice projects recently.
