I have a friend looking to purchase a medieval crossbow (100 years war) however, I really don't shoot crossbows so I don't know who to suggest for such a thing.

So, any recommendations for a quality period crossbow?

I have one of New World Arbalest latches and I'm quite happy with it.

Hi,

the absolute best for this job, I know, is Jens Sensfelder from Germany - he makes the real stuff (... for real much money).

Regards

Hi Erik
Check this thread out:
http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t...d+crossbow

Special project aside, the thread serves as a very clear look at Tod's talent.
