MRL and Picsof their Showroom Kirk Lee posted
Great pics Kirk. I enjoy going there and your pics make me want to make another trip. I live near Montgomery, Al.. It takes about three hours or so to get there. But it is a nice Saturday morning drive. Heck, I spend more time than that just tooling around town on a Saturday morning here at home.
Take care,
Dave
I'll pipe in here. As far as MRL goes today iI feel that there quality is far removed from some of the debaucheries of a couple years back. I just purchased a Kindjal from them and for $30 it was a steal. Very well excecuted, hell even the scabbard fits properly. That's usually been my complaint with their offerings. They seemingly are using full tang blades as opposed to welded on rod ends. They could probably work on the casting department though. Sometomes hilt components have too large of tolerances which effects the overall strength of the assembled product. But all in all for the price you pay for alot of their stuff it's hard to beat for something you may want use for more abusive activities then again you may not. The spears, axes (in general), maces and especially the warhammers they offer are pretty stout. I've handled various Footman's 2 hand hammers by MRL and I attest to their sturdiness as well as the fit and finish.

My biggest prob presently with them is where they will peen some swords, use a capstan peening, and then on other swords use screw on pommels ( ). I've said too much.
