A&A Knightly Riding Sword
Anyone have any experience with this weapon? I'd love to hear some peoples impressions of the sword.
I don't own it but I remember reading some positive remarks about the handling. Basically it is quick and feels good in the hand. That is probably what you should expect from a riding sword.
Jay Baron had one of these at his 2003 gathering. Hilted in bronze, very handy size. Quite diminutive, the pommel tang block is about half the size you see on the larger A&A swords. We didn't cut with it but it appeared to be well up to such.

Quite lively in size and fashion, as well as how it felt to handle. I don't remember the pob but it felt very much like a large dagger in response.

Quite a cutie.

Cheers

Hi Jason,

I have this sword and I love it. It is extremely lively in the hand and cuts like a dream (both forehand and backhand). I would suggest getting the bronze fittings as it really sets off the beauty of the blade.
Hey Jason,
I forgot to tell you that I handled one at WMAW. Very nice. For some reason I was expecting it to be a smaller sword. I've never cared that much for the aesthetic style of this one, but it felt really nice in the hand.
As Glen said ,I own a Knightly riding sword and it's a real beaut. It's also one of the best handling swords in my collection. IMO, it's one of the most underrated swords on the market today. It was extremely well received at the RI gathering (some of us did cut with it, BTW).
