Nanban Japanese Samurai Armour by Rob Mac
Now up for offer!!!!

Impressive Gusoku facsimile of Japanese "Nanban" Armour

made by the very skilled Robert Mac in 1989 (its as old as me)

A chance to own an amazing piece of pure unobtanium (you would never source a genuine real one) A very cool combination of East meets West.

In the 16th century Japan began trading with Europe during what would become known as the Nanban trade.
Samurai acquired European armour including the cuirass and comb morion which they modified and combined with domestic armour as it provided better protection from the newly introduced matchlock muskets known as Tanegashima.
This particular set, has a adapted cabbaset into a Kabuto, a full seldom seen So-men (full mask) and a Peascod Curiass which has become a (dou) The set comes with a box to display on, comes with Kote (armored sleeves) haidate (thigh guard) and suneate (shinguard)

Looking to get back what I paid minus the kote, haidate and suneate costs, so its a bargain! and displays lovely. 3500gbp ono
