Scythian sword with an engraving. Very rare. It is considered, that Scythians had only daggers...

Very nice!
I love akinakes!

It seems like archaeologists are digging up more and more "long akinakes" nowadays. A lot of them are in the sword-size range, and even a few large swords have been discovered.
Of course, for the late period, you get a lot of overlap between Scythian and Sarmatian burials, when the two cultures were beginning to seriously merge.

Do you have an approximate date and a find-place for this piece?

circa 4-3 century B.C.
It is type of a Scythian sword, instead of Sarmatian!!!
