My mother (aka used bookstore owner) tossed a copy of British Military Swords - from 1800 to the present day by John Wilkinson Latham, copyright 1967 by Crown Publishers Inc. of New York in my lap today. Anyone heard of it? Is it any good?

Hi Jonathan,
It's a good basic introduction to the subject. Lots of decent photos. Some of the items are misdated and some info out of date, but still a good book. It's one I cut my eyeteeth on when I began collecting back in the early 1970s.
