You mean something like that....

I'm also a great fan of Berserk but only of the anime which sounds by far more "historical" to me...
That's probably why I asked Jiri Krondak (via Reve d'Acier an great medieval store located in Paris ) to recreate for me to most famous Berserker's sword....
It has take us 2 month to work on the design of the sword... the real difficulty was to forge a functional and well balanced blade ( As well balanced as possible I mean.... ;) ) But we finally manage to do so using an "historically correct" reproduction of a two handed Katzbalger as a model.

There is the result... enjoy ;)

My first try with the sword.... still in Reve D'Acier store ( notice the devotion of those noble scientists who takes considerables risk for the greatest glory of Reve d'Acier and Medieval Swordsmanship.... especially the one who is behind the shield    )
Sorry for the late response...

Once again thanks for all the info everybody. I have taken notes and will definitely be considering some of these weapons in my creative process. I also ordered a few of the books mentioned, they are on the way as we speak.

@ The Berserk fans: I have been reading the English Manga published by Dark Horse. They/ I are only up to book 13 so far, so please try not to let out any spoilers lol.

@ Gabriel: Be careful with that thig! haha

I'm definitely glad I found this place, thanks everyone.
