Hey everyone. So I've mostly got the sword types I'd like for my collection sorted (still a couple I need but I know what I'm looking for), so I'm researching what polearms I might like to add. My particular area of interest is England/Scotland in the mid-14th century, and I'm hoping some of you either have or can point me in the direction of pics of originals from that period. I'm looking for non-spear weapons in particular; early pollaxes, glaives, bardiches, etc. I've found some in manuscripts, but not any extant examples. Thanks in advance!

Here are some examples in period art:

Thanks for the link, Chad! I remember seeing that thread before but couldn't find it using search. Very informative.

I'm especially interested in pollaxes and glaives/fauchards/etc. from that period. Anyone have more pics or can point me in the direction of sources? Here's a couple examples from Chad's photos from Troso:

Chad, does Troso give an overall length for this pollaxe? I'm assuming the 44cm measurement is just the head.

Both items were in private collections at the time the book was published, so I'm not sure what other info is available, unfortunately. I don't believe there's any other measurement info for that axe in the book. Sorry! Happy
