About myArmoury.com

There are many sources, both on-line and in print, for the collector of antique arms and armour. Likewise, many sources of information have been created for the practioner of European martial arts. One area that has been neglected thus far is the collecting of modern-made reproductions: both custom and production.

It's our goal to help educate the collector and enthusiast regarding the various aspects and particulars of the modern replica. In years past many of us wasted much of our hard earned money through a trial and error process of self-education. It is hoped that the information presented within this site will help create a more knowledgeable collector while helping us all make better informed purchasing decisions.

The last several years have seen a robust and active community of arms and armour enthusiasts emerge. Many of these enthusiasts share a passionate hobby as collectors. The enjoyment of our hobby isn't fully realized unless we have the ability to share it with others of like mind. To this end, we intend to build an extensive base of reviews and photographic galleries covering the range of economy production pieces to the works of modern-day masters.

Please share any feedback or comments about this site or its contents. We're interested in learning about other collections, both large and small, and would especially like to see photographs. If you have anything to show, or have information relating to arms and armour, please don't hesitate to send an email.

We truly hope you enjoy your visit.
