Purpleheart Armory Buckler
Original: Late medieval Europe

One person likes this. Do you like this? yes no
Purpleheart Armory is known for their well-made wooden wasters for use amongst martial artists, but they also make this very sturdy and historically-accurate wooden buckler. The piece has a steel boss to protect the hand, and feels right at home with medieval sword and buckler techniques. It has seen quite a lot of use against a variety of sword simulators, from shinai to padded weapons to wooden wasters and even some steel blunts, and has held up quite nicely. The boss has been chemically blued by myself and arrived with a gray primer on the wooden portion. It has been painted with my own personal design.
Diameter: 21"
Weight: 1.3 pounds

Maker: Purpleheart Armory of Texas.
