Arms & Armor Bohemian Broadsword

Original: Date 1480-1510, Private collection

The Bohemian's mild steel furniture is cast in a writhen design, cleanly cast and very attractive. The sword's wooden grip is covered with leather that has been stitched, then shrunk to fit with beeswax. The blade is finished with a very attractive satin finish that is authentic and easily maintained. The pommel is secured by a locking nut through which the tang is peened.

See our hands-on review for more information on this sword.
