Gus has provided me with two different blades for this next Prestige line sword: a single fullered type XII and a double fullered one. Here's a gallery link for the hiltwork, shown on the single fullered blade:

Not much of a fan of the crosses, but I do like it none the less.

Does it come with a Holy Hand Grenade? ;)

Anyway, yeah, I like what I see so far!

I also like the crosses-- it's nice to see someone doing something more than simple leather wrap over cord (as nice as that can be).

It's fairly hard to figure out the details of the cross to be honnest...as the lighting hides some of the contours.
I like the leather work though, with twisted rope raisers and crosses imprints. It's nice to see some variation from the good old leather and cord imprints.

I like cross potents - one of the easier and more appropriate crosses to put on a sword IMO. It will be interesting to see the scabbard when that comes out.

I've seen it now, and my my my my is that nice looking! I too like the crosses, it IS called the ANTIOCH and what is more classic than a crusader sword? my comments below still stand; I want one.

I think I can say that I am saving up for it already and almost definitely going to buy one. I love Mr. Trim's swords and everything I've seen and heard of this new prestige line tells me that I need to have one. the two that are out now are great looking swords but just not my style. a type XII is very much my type of sword. I think Mr. Fletcher and Mr. Trim are going to put a serious squeeze on Albion with this new line.

good job guys! and thank you.

EDIT: I have spoken to Mr. Fletcher and I will be sending him my scheduling deposite just as soon as I can get my personal computer on-line to paypal. Mr. Fletcher told me to expect pricing for the sword only to be around $700 and the whole package to be about $1450. He will be making some customizations for me at my request so it will not be exactly the same at the one pictured. either way I am excited about this sword and hear it is one of the best performing type XII swords ever made, if not THE best performing type XII ever made. I have been told it's performance blows even such a great sword as the Albion Knight out of the water in all respects. I' hearing very, very good things about this sword.

I'll know personally sometime around March, looks like.
