I'd like to know if anyone here has had any experience with swords from www.outfit4events.com, as I found a nice looking messer on their site, and wanted to know if their blades are worth the price. Also, I read in a previous thread that this website markets swords made by different smiths, and if so, could anyone tell me if these smiths have their own websites? Thanks.

No experience with these guys, but I do like their polish sabres - at less than 2 lbs should be a pleasure to handle and cut with. Their prices seem to be on par with Darkwood Armory, which has good reputation and may be easier and faster to order from. Just my $0.02.

I ordered a spear from them last fall. Payment wasn't too bad, I ended up using paypal. I forget how long the quoted time was exactly, but they shipped it on the exact day they had quoted. They seemed nice and were helpful through the ordering process. The spear was a custom order and it was ok, but I did have a bit higher expectation for it. It was only slightly more than the spears on the website, but I was expecting the polish and finish of the piece to be the same. It is somewhat on the rough side with a straight from the forge finish. Nothing that I can't fix when I get the time, but I know that I would have payed a bit extra to have it finished more like the spears on the website had I known it would have the rough finish to it. Not enough of and issue for me to say anything about, but should I order from them again I would mention that I would like a better finish to the piece just so I don't have to do it.

Thank you guys for the helpful input, I'm definitely considering buying something from them. If not that messer, then maybe one of their halberds.
