For Sale: 14th-16th century "Archer's sword", as seen in Osprey's Warrior series "English Longbowman 1330-1515".
I had the sword made over 10 years ago, using a Black and White photo from the book as basis for the piece. Beau Hickory, an Arizona blacksmith made the piece for me. Blade is single edge saber style, made of Swedish tool steel, guard, knuckle bow and pommel are steel as well, grip is wood, covered with wire, then covered with leather. Blade is 2 x 27 inches, OAL is 33inches. Grip is 4 inches long. Blade is blunt, but can be sharpened. This is a munitions grade piece, as I wanted something a "common" soldier would carry. No knicks, dings or blemishes on the blade. Comes with simple scabbard. Blade is incredibly flexible. Asking $195 with free shipping within the Continental US.
