Some of you may know about my Anduril that Kevin Cashen made for me. Patrick Hastings carved an intricately beautiful pommel fo rthat piece. So when it was time to add a belt to the great scabbard kevin made, I decided to go back to Patrick. Here are some pics of the Elvish bucke he and I hashed out. Anyone who doesn't know of Patrick's work is missing something special. I believe the man can carve anything into metal. he does great work.

I love it Joel, truly beautiful. If I ever need elaborate belt fittings I think Patrick will be the man to talk to.

I'd also like to mention, again, that I love your interpretation of Anduril. Far too many of the so called "original" LotR designs I've see lately are blatant rip-offs, or are heavily influenced by the movie versions.

Yours is one of the truly original designs that I've seen. Well done.

not to mention he designed his sword LONG before the movies came out. Bravo Pattick and Joel for designing that, really amazing work. I see on patricks site he has pictures of it up, as well as pictures of the belt tip........ very nice. prehaps we need a shot of the whole get up? I forgot what the scabbard for your anduril looks like..........

Here are some more pics of the sword and scabbard together. This sword is just lovely to swing around, although the rayskin can be a bit tough on the palms Eek!
