So, I know I know, why don't you just wear contacts? Right? But I have an old pair of eyeglasses laying around and the thought leapt into my mind of recreating a pair of glasses from the second half of the 15th century. I found the images below thanks to wikipedia. Does anyone else have more pictures, or pictures of recreations?

Were in the late middle ages eyeglasses ever used to correct near-sight? That is, not for reading, but for, say, hunting?
