Hi, surfing the Effigies and Brasses site I found new Italian effigies.
And one in particular got my eye.

I'm wondering waht kind fo helm is that.
An early type of tournament helm (the ones that developed from great helms) or a visoerd bascinet?

It appears to me to be a a frog mouth helm. He also looks to have "floating" knees too...

I'm not sure what you'd call that. It looks strange, though.
It seems to be worn over a mail standard.
