Hi there!
I´d like to share pics of my new sword – German Pallasch M1854, which I forged in cooperation with German Reenactment group. First I made wooden model for casting. Final cast is brass.
Grip is made from black ray-skin. Overall length: 106 cm, weight: 1.1 kg.
Pics of original, model & my final piece:

Nice! Good weight for such a long sword. What is the thickness at the base?

That's precisely the kind of thing that springs to my mind when I think about the words "dueling sword".
Slender, graceful, and elegant. I like it!
"Rhaegar fought nobly.
Rhaegar fought valiantly.
Rhaegar fought honorably.
And Rhaegar died."
