Most of the arms which I own are made by A&A and I am generally pleased with them. I would however like my next to be from a different maker. What companies or individuals are out there that produce arms of equal or better quality, keeping authenticity in mind. Thanks

First tell us what your price ceiling is. Knowing the amount that you're willing to spend will help in making recommendations.

The answer to Patrick's question is important because with A&A you've likely reached the top of the production/semi-production historic options. The possible exception may be some of what is coming out of Albion (which I have not seen or held). One option is to find something historic and have A&A do a custom verion of it gfor you. Its a gentle entry into the custom market and you still end up with something unique. Others can speak to other possiblitites with more authority than I.

At generally the same price level of Arms & Armor sits another company, Albion Armorers that offers historically accurate replicas. Additionally, Christian Fletcher is putting together some nice combinations of weapons. At a less expensive price point, sacrificing some historical authenticity and quality of execution, are Angus Trim and Armour Class.
