I recently just got that one from the Hanwei line http://www.casiberia.com/cas/product_details.asp?id=SH2250
The product seemed to be realy interresting for its price for practising Lichtenauer stuff because of its measurements and its weight.
Even if the sword is really lightweight it is totally unbalanced. the handle needs more weight in it. It is probably due to the tang wich one is really thin. I am looking for a way to add something like 10 ounces in the handle. I know some people here has made interresting conversions on their swords. Is there any way to add weight in the handle?
On another way the blade seems to be of quite good quality.

You might be able to use some lead. You could perhaps drill a couple of holes in the pommel and then fill it with lead. That might make some improvement on the handling; it probably will not help aesthetics. I personally don't think I would go that route, but it's what comes to mind. I would get a few more suggestions before I made any changes.

Sorry I wasn't more help, but maybe it will help inspire a more feasible solution.

What kind of grip does it have? Is it wood, plastic, or hollow metal?
