Angus Trim/Christian Fletcher AT1520

Original: Circa 15th Century

Christian Fletcher applied his "Fechtbuch" hilt upgrade to this sword made by Angus Trim. Christian's hilt-work is very cleanly executed and really brings the sword to life. It is a very light and incredibly fast sword, and feels perfect for fencing in the German style of Kunst des Fechtens.

This sword is a blunt for western martial arts use. The edge is very thin, and is actually more of an "unsharpened-sharp" sword than what many would consider a normal blunt. This serves my purposes just fine, but should be kept in mind if one is intending to purchase a blunted sword from Angus Trim.

See our hands-on review for more information on this sword.
