This weapon is based loosely upon a weapon found in North Grimston, Yorkshire England, en suite with a long iron sword, belt fittings, shield bindings. The original had only one "face" and was 19.5" in its entirety.

This replica features a solid cast bronze hilt with a Janusary (two-faced) head. The blade is of chrome-vanadium steel with a flattened diamond cross-section.

Width of guard: 3.5"
Blade: 19.5" long; 2.25" wide tapering to 1.25"
Hilt length: 4.5" to "crotch" 5.25" to "feet"
Point of Balance (PoB): 2.75" from guard
Center of Percussion (CoP): ~11.5" from guard
