Arma Bohemia All-Metal Rondel Dagger

Original: German, circa 1400

This rondel dagger is made entirely of steel. The blade has a wide square-sectioned ricasso with two fullers that transition into the long, tapering diamond-sectioned blade. The steel grip is decorated with incised lines, making for an attractive presentation and a secure gripping surface. The rondels each feature cut-outs along their edges.

The dark red leather scabbard is wood-cored and has a metal throat and chape. A single ring acts as the attachment point and creates a perfect suspension angle.

Overall length: 17.25"
Weight: 12 ounches
Blade: 13" long; .875" wide tapering to .25"
Hilt length: 4.25"

Maker: Arma Bohemia of the Czech Republic.

Based on a German
example, dated 1400.
